I found your blog while searching 'naknek' tags. There were maybe 6 posts, 3 or 4 of them from you. I absolutely love your photos! I've spent the last two summers working as a processor there, and had some great experiences. It was a surprisingly fun place to take pictures. Thank you for the kind words! Naknek is a strange time warp of a place, but you are correct, a fascinating place to make images. I only regret I didn’t take more there. Nobody wanted a Greenhorn taking their photograph. Plus, I could never compete with the reigning champion of Bristol Bay photography, Corey Arnold. |
